Opal-6 Signal Descriptions
This page details the signals on the interface connector. They are grouped by function:
- Power and Control
- DA9063 (PMIC) Signals
- Ethernet
- HDMI
- LVDS
- MIPI Display and Camera
- USB
- PCIe
- Parallel Camera
- Parallel Display

*Note that not all NAND Flash signals are present so connecting to a NAND flash device is not possible. The name was used as it corresponds to the primary signal name on the i.MX6.
Most of the signals originate from the i.MX6. For details on these signals, refer to the i.MX6 Datasheet and Reference Manual on the NXP site.
i.MX6 Solo/DualLite
i.MX6 Dual/Quad
i.MX6 DualPlus/QuadPlus
Each i.MX6 GPIO signal can be configured as one of up to 8 different functions.
The NXP IOMUX tool (link downloads from Freescale site) is the best way to view the options.
