| Freescale i.MX6 | The Opal-6 supports the Solo and DualLite variants of the i.MX6 processor. |
| Connection | 2 x HIROSE 168-pin connectors provide the interface to all signals on the Opal-6 module. Almost all i.MX6 signals are available on this interface. |
| DDR3 RAM | Standard DDR3 RAM configurations are:

| Storage | Opal-6 includes eMMC for OS, application and data storage. 4GByte parts are fitted as standard. |
| Networking | Opal-6 includes a Gigabit Ethernet PHY. |
| Power Management | Opal-6 is powered by a single 5V supply. The on-board DA9053 Power Management IC (PMIC) and other auxiliary devices provide all the necessary supplies required by the i.MX6, memory and Ethernet components. |
